Mudd UK started life in a welcoming tavern in south-west London.
Frustrated and with sore feet after an unsuccessful shopping trip to central London in pursuit of a stylish, yet smart messenger bag and a durable, striking sportsbag, the much needed liquid refreshment not only eased the irritable demeanour but planted a creative seed to provide a practical, stylish product that could withstand the vigours of a busy work, sporting and social life whilst looking good in all three environments.
The passion to produce quality, attractive products remains the same today as it did in Mudd's inception. Whilst our styles will change to reflect a changing world our quality and attention to detail will remain unwavered.
Mudd's aim is to fuse style with practicality combining the highest manufacturing standards with quality materials. The leather used is of a full grain thickness, which is then drum dyed, oiled and finally waxed to achieve the eponymous rich texture that has become Mudd's signature.
