Description : Kisiki Kiondo Grass Baskets are made from sustainable grasses (sisal) twisted together to form a string/thread which is then hand dyed and hand woven. Sometimes there is a variation in colour from one basket to the next, this is because this is a hand made item and may well be from a different dye batch. The leather work and beading is then done by a different group of artisans. The rolled leather handles are securely attached and are long enough to go over the shoulder. The bags have a zip top.
